Scholarships

Scholarships are available from many sources, including your school, colleges, community organizations, national associations, parents’ employers, banks, and credit unions. Below you’ll find local scholarships, scholarship databases, and a step-by-step guide to help you find and apply for scholarships.

• 2026 Norm Manly Maritime Education Scholarship ($1500 to $5000) Application - Due April 6, 2026

  • Provided by the Youth Maritime Training Association (YMTA), this scholarship is for graduating seniors going into a maritime school or training program (marine sciences or marine-related career) at a community college, university, vocational/technical, academy, etc.
  • Applicants: 1) Submit a letter of support from one teacher (Optional letter from a member of the maritime community is encouraged but not required.), 2) Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher or an additional letter of recommendation from a teacher (if GPA less than 2.5)

• Sno-Isle School Retirees Association Unit 22 Scholarship Application ($2500 x 2, renewable) - Due April 15, 2026

  • Eligibility: 1) Graduating seniors from Snohomish County and school districts (Camano Island and South Whidbey), 2) Planning a career in education, 3) Must attend 2-year or 4-year college/university within Washington State.

  • Requires: Photo (see application), complete application, three letters of reference (see application), and three essays

• Sea Mar Scholarships ($1000 and $2500 awards) Application - Due April 15, 2026

  • Sea Mar Farmworker High School & College Scholarship, $1000 (Applicants must be of migrant or seasonal farmworker backgrounds.)
  • Latino/a Educational Achievement Project Scholarship, $2500 (Applicants must show a history of advocacy, responsibility, accountability, perseverance, are go-getters, and have shown or have the strong potential to be contributors to their community.)

• Erin Galli Marques Memorial Scholarship ($2000) Application - Due April 17, 2026

  • Applicants are interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education.

  • Read carefully, complete, and then save the application.
  • Submit application to Mr. Dahlke in JHS Career Center, email: ddahlke@everettsd.org

• 2026 Student-View Scholarship Program ($500 to $10,000) - Due April 23, 2026

  • One $10,000 award, two $1000 awards, and three $500 awards.

  • Complete 15-25 minute online survey about local colleges, then you will automatically be entered into a random drawing for a scholarship award.

• SHAWN MCEWEN Memorial Scholarship Application ($1000) - Due April 17, 2026

  • Applicants must be majoring in an area of Health Care or Emergency Services including EMT, Law Enforcement, etc.

  • Applicants must plan to attend an accredited community college, university, or vocational/technical institute or training.
  • Applicant submits complete application to JHS Career Center by due date.

• The Kenneth Clarke Scholarship ($3000 x 5 awards) Application - Due April 24, 2026

  • Eligibility: Kenneth Clarke, 2017 JHS graduate, was involved in mock trials, international students, interested in going into politics, and passionate about social justice and United Nations issues. This scholarship recognizes:

    • Applicants who want to change or impact the world, are pursuing a path of one or more of the following: social justice, history, or international affairs/government/political science.
    • Applicants with financial need are preferred but not mandatory.
    • Applicants should show involvement in high school and/or local community

• To Go Boldly & Beyond STEM Scholarship ($1000) Application - Due April 24, 2026

  • Criteria: African American, female student pursuing a degree in STEM at a 4-year university/college (no community college transfers)

• Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce Application & Instructions ($2000 - 6 awards) - Due April 30, 2026

• APPLICANTS submit the following by due date: 1) complete application, 2) two letters of reference and recommendation from teachers, advisors, and/or local business people (no relatives), 3) a copy of the "Letter of Acceptance" from institution applicant plans to attend, 4) essay about applicant's academic & career path (200 typed words or less). Applicants:

  • Plan to pursue a business career
  • Be a senior in good standing at time of application AND be accepted to attend full-time at an accredited College, University, or Fine Arts School
  • Applicants must live in Mill Creek, attending: Henry M. Jackson High School, Cascade High School, Cedar Park Christian School, or Archbishop Murphy High School
